Each year, the USSF requires referees to re-certify in order to ensure that referees stay current with the rules and procedures. This process can now be done online by going to From the home page, click the registration drop down, and select re-certification.

Meetings are held at the beginning of the fall and spring season and will be helpful in getting to know the assignor, covering changes in procedures, reviewing modifications to the Laws of the Game and providing referee pointers.
